Ishaq give to embark on an official two -day trip to Hong Kong


The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, will embark on a two -day visit to Hong Kong on Thursday to attend the signature ceremony for the establishment of the International Mediation Organization (IOMED).

During your visit, Giving will formally sign the Convention on the establishment of the IOMED and will deliver an address at the ceremony on May 30. It is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings outside the event, according to the statement issued by the foreign office on Wednesday.

“Pakistan believes that peace and security, as well as global prosperity, can be promoted and preserved through strict adherence to the principles of the UN Charter, the faithful implementation of the resolutions of the UN Security Council and international law,” reads.

He added that mediation, diplomacy, dialogue and international cooperation remain key pillars of Pakistan’s foreign policy approach.

Pakistan joins the IOMED as one of its founding members, underlining its commitment to the peaceful resolution of international disputes.

“Pakistan continues to firmly support the objectives and objectives of the International Organization for Mediation, recognizing its potential for the Pacific and Pacific Agreement of International Disputes,” the statement added.
