Islamabad has strongly denied the Indian statements that Pakistan launched attacks in Pathankot, Jaisalmer and Srinagar, calling the accusations “unfounded and irresponsible” and “politically motivated.”
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, Islamabad said that India’s accusations were part of a “reckless propaganda campaign” designed to damage the image of Pakistan and cause tensions in the region.
“The repeated pattern of accusations leveling against Pakistan without any credible research reflects a deliberate strategy to manufacture a pretext for aggression and further destabilize the region,” says the declaration of FO.
On May 8, India launched strikes about Pakistan and Ajk in the dark hours, an assault that Islamabad called a “act of shameless war.”
Islamabad said that six Pakistani locations, from mosques to hydroelectric projects, were attacked. At least 31 civilians, including children, were martyred and 57 wounds suffered after India launched an unprovided and tortuous attack in six locations: Ahmedpur East, Muridke, Sialkot and Shakkargarh in Punjab and Muzaffrabad and Kotli in Azad Kashmir.
In retaliation, the armed forces of Pakistan demolished five aircraft of the Air Force of India (IAF), seven drones, destroyed a headquarters of the brigade and a series of positions of positions along the control line (LOC).
In his statement, the Foreign Ministry warned that such tactics not only run the risk of peace in southern Asia, but also show a “disturbing will to exploit wrong information” for political or military purposes.
When asking the international community to take note, the statement urged global powers to “advise India towards restriction and responsibility.”
“Any escalation based on false claims will find a complete resolution and determination to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the government said.
Pakistan emphasized that he remained committed to peace, but “it will not be dissuaded by attempts to provoke, intimidate or deceive.”
Again he emphasized that “the right to respond to acts of aggression is reserved.”
These statements were also rejected by the civil and military leadership of Pakistan earlier in the day.
Going Thursday on Thursday, the general director of Public Relations between Services (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, categorically dismissed India’s accusations that Pakistan launched attacks in 15 locations in Indian territory, labeling statements as “completely false.” He said that India is trying to present evidence manufactured to justify her recent military actions against Pakistan.
“India’s statements have no basis. The images that have shown from the supposed Pakistani projectiles are ridiculous. A projectile of that nature will at least set fire to dry grass, but their so -called evidence does not show such damage,” said the DG ISPR.
He said India said Pakistan shot 15 projectiles, all of which were neutralized by Indian aerial defenses. However, the ISPR DG made fun of these statements, pointing out the failure of India to protect its plane.
“If India states that he neutralized 15 projectiles, why couldn’t he prevent his own five planes from demolishing by Pakistan’s Air Force?” He asked, referring to demolishing five Indian aircraft, including three Rafale fighters, one MIG-29 and one SU-30, by the Pakistan Air Force.
