Islamabad has exceeded the main global cities, including London, New York, Oslo, Sydney, Moscow, Toronto and Barcelona, ​​in terms of security, according to the latest Number report.

The Numbo World Security Index classifies Islamabad 93 among 380 cities worldwide, with a 67.9 security index score.

In comparison, London with a 45.8 score occupies the 270th place, Paris with 41.9 occupies the 303 position, Berlin with 55.3 is placed in 187, Moscow with 64.6 is located in 118, while Lahore, with an index of 63.1, is 130.

Previously, the United Nations had also declared Islamabad a “family station” for their staff.

A spokesman for the Islamabad police proved the high safety range of the capital to the leadership of Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, under whose possession the force recorded notable successes and a remarkable decrease in crime for 2024 and 2025.
