Islamabad, Ankara, asks for the immediate fire in Gaza

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with Turkiye Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

The two leaders strongly condemned Israel’s onroach atrocities in Gaza and expressed a serious concern about the deep humanitarian catastrophe, including starvation, forced displacement and loss of innocent lives.

They underwent the urgency of humanitarian aid without obstacles, a high immediate fire and international efforts together for a fair, lasting and comprehensive peace.

Expressing unwavering support for the Palestinian people and its fair cause, they expected significant results of the International Conference on the implementation of the solution of two states, which is held today at the UN.

Meanwhile, Gaza’s Civil Defense Agency said the Israeli army fire killed 27 Palestinians, 12 of them near the help distribution areas.

However, the Jordanian and Emirati aircraft left food in Gaza on Sunday, since Israel began a “tactical pause” limited in military operations to allow the UN and help agencies to address a deeper hunger crisis.

The UN emergency relief coordinator, Tom Fletcher, welcomed the tactical breaks, saying that he was in “contact with our teams on the ground that will do everything possible to reach as many hungry people as we can in this window.”
