An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad listened to multiple cases against the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) on Monday, including those related to the protest of November 26, the alleged electoral appearance and manifestations of the Azadi march.
Judge Tahir Abbas Supra presided over the procedures and commented that the Ministry of Law has not yet responded to his letter on the founder of PTI. He said that a reminder would be sent today, urging the State to clarify whether it is about pursuing these cases.
The court marked the accused assistance and postponed the hearings. The copies of the Challan were distributed in the case of the Kohsar Police Station, while the requests for exemption from the appearance were presented by the leaders of PTI, Omar Ayub and Ali Nawaz Awan.
