Islamabad: A session and district court of Islamabad has granted a prior physical prison of two days of five foreign citizens accused of operating an illegal call center in the G-10 area of the capital.

The suspects were presented in the Court by the National Cybercrime Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).

According to the Nccia, the call center was recently raided and it was discovered that they organized an online fraudulent network, supposedly directed by the five foreign people. More than 60 Pakistani citizens were also used on the site.

During the judicial procedures, the prosecutor declared that the accused was part of an organized network involved in online scams through illegal websites. “A greater interrogation of the suspects is necessary,” the prosecutor told the Court while looking for his physical return.

The Court accepted the prosecutor’s supplication and ordered the authorities to present foreigners again on July 16.

The NCCIA spokesman confirmed that the suspects were arrested during a raid in the G-10 and that the measures would also be taken against those who gave them support and security within Pakistan.
