Islamabad:
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) launched an important operation on Monday, sealing multiple illegal tents and commercial structures in various areas of the Federal Capital.
This action was taken under the directives of the president of the CDA as part of a broader campaign to eliminate invasions and constructions not authorized in Islamabad.
The teams of the General Directorate of Construction and Housing Control, together with the Configuration Directorate, carried out the operation in areas IV and V, directing structures that violated construction regulations. The execution campaign was carried out under the control regulations of the 2020 building (modified 2023) to guarantee adherence to the development laws of the city.

The CDA had previously issued 15 -day warnings in a row of notices of 7 -day exhibition cause to the owners of these structures, which ordered them to regularize their buildings or clean the pending quotas. However, due to breach, the authority proceeded with sealing and demolition actions.
A spokesman reiterated the authority’s commitment to maintain planned urban development in Islamabad.
