Genevieve O’Reilly and Faye Marsay have raised the “important” paper cover that Luthen Rael will play in the evolution of the dynamics of their characters in Andor Season 2.
In statements to Techradar before the return of Disney+ Show, O’Reilly and Marsay suggested that the relationship of Mon Mothma and Vel Sartha will explore in more detail this season. However, its kinship will be at the mercy of Luthen, also known as the gloomy leader of the nascent rebel alliance.
In fact, although of course, Mon and Vel care about each other, their relationship will always be considered the second best, in Luthen’s mind, anyway, in the struggle to overthrow the galactic empire.
And, with the puppet master of the rebellion “holding many of the cards” in terms of orchestrating the role of each rebel in the Star Wars, Mon and Vel television series will be found in different directions throughout the race of 12 episodes of the final season.

“There is a scene in season 2 that we film in Valencia,” continues O’Reilly. “It’s a party scene where Mon and Luthen cross again, and Mon asks” how is my cousin? I have not had news of her. “There is a concern that something could have happened to Vel, but, which is Luthen, does not reveal anything. So, he becomes an integral person within this family structure and has happened to many of the letters that keep everyone in their hands.”
