Google dropped the announcement in an X post (see below), revealing that Gemini for early access will be launched on October 1 and invited users to register to obtain updates. According to Engadget, Gemini for Home will be available in free versions and payments, but this is not yet safe.

Google first presented Gemini for home at the Made by Google Event in August, but did not give live demonstrations of its abilities. Despite this absence, we hope Google deliver its first aspect of the functions of Home Smart Home of Gemini on October 1.
According to Google blog publication, Gemini for the Home is ‘a completely new and more powerful assistant’, and will have the ability to provide responses to its most complex voice commands. For example, you can ask Gemini on your smart speaker or smart screen to reproduce a song from a specific decade, or even ask you to place your nest thermostat at a specific temperature while attenuating the lights.
Gemini’s integration with Google Smart Home devices has taken a long time to arrive, so this is quite exciting news. But Gemini for the home is not the only thing we expect to make an appearance.

In addition to the arrival of Gemini for the home, we hope that Google will present a new intelligent home hardware – The details of which were leaked a few weeks ago.
One of the main devices we expect is a new Nido camera, which Google caused in its publication. Although it has a surprising resemblance with the existing Google Nest CAM, it is likely to be a new model with integration of Gemini, as well as other improved characteristics. Nor would we rule out the possibility that a new Nest bell appears, but it is the new smart speaker I am looking for.

Since Google has not updated its smart speakers line from the Nest Audio in 2021, the company has had time to give its new model to TLC in the front of the voice assistant. Now that Alexa+ has been implemented for users in the US, and Apple’s updated Siri is on the way, it will be interesting to see what Google will do to get ahead of their competitors.
