Apple launched the Airpods Pro 2 in September 2022, and is still pressing new functions for them, but it seems that we may have to wait until next year before the Apple Airpods Pro 3 see daylight.
According to the industry analyst Joff Pu (through @jukanlosreve), the Airpods Pro 3 are scheduled for a 2026 launch. That would mean four full years between the releases, after a three -year gap between the original Airpods Pro and the Airpods Pro 2.
We do not get much more information beyond that for this escape in particular, but it means that it can have a little more time to save to obtain the next pair of Apple premium headphones. The fourth generation version of the standard AirPods was launched last September.
We had our hopes for a 2025 launch for the Apple Airpods Pro 3 after the code that mentioned that the headphones were detected in iOS 26. Nothing is certain in any way, but a release this year now seems less likely.

Certainly there have been many leaks and rumors around the Airpods Pro 3 since 2022, so we have a pretty good idea of what is coming, even if we have to wait a little more for the great presentation of these improved headphones.
One of the main changes that are rumored that will advance is the introduction of small infrared cameras in the Airpods Pro. The purpose of these cameras would apparently, it would be to capture gears to control the headphones.
Of course, there will be some audio quality improvements, which we would undoubtedly wait after a four -year -old gap between the models, and we also talk that we will also see a series of health monitoring improvements.
Hopefully the price is something that does not change: both previous models of Airpods Pro had an initial price of $ 249 / £ 249 / au $ 399, and we hope that Apple does not have to increase that price next time.
