We could see both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and a new Tri-Samsung Tholg phone in July next July, and the last rumors of the supply chain are that both folding can come with a posterior titanium plate that connects the hinge and visualization panels.
This comes from the elec (through Sammobile), and should mean both a lighter phone and a more difficult phone in general. While the Samsung Galaxy Z FOLD 6 (launched in July 2024) uses a posterior carbon fiber plate, titanium was used in the special edition Samsung Galaxy Z Fold (launched in October 2024).
There has definitely there has been a more titanium tendency on smartphones in recent years, including the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, although that phone uses titanium in its frame instead of its rear plate, since it does not have a hinge.
The material brings with it a series of attractive properties, including lightness and durability, but is more difficult and more expensive to make alternatives. That could be reflected in the prices of Samsung’s next folding.
Thinner and thinner
Another fact of the report of the election is that Samsung could delete the part of the digitizer of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 screen that would allow him to admit the pen inputs, and that he would allow the phone to be thinner than ever.

There have already been many leaks and rumors along the way with these phones. The tri-glide (which can be called Galaxy G fold) is expected to share the same hinges and speakers as the galaxy z fold 7, for example.
The two phones could also be announced at the same time, together with the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which will probably be at some point during July, although the tri-pliege model may not go on sale at the same time as the other two folding.
