- Wear OS 6 will be released for Android watches at the end of this year
- It is said that it has two new features not announced: first, a dedicated water block for Pixel Watch
- Second, the adaptive load will improve the long -term battery health of your clock
Wear OS 6 has been revealed, and many changes are making that users of the best Android smart watches are quite excited. Changes in the user experience, a visual redesign, which adds the assistant of the Google Gemini AI to his wrist … There will be enough for the users of the best smart watches (which are not for iPhone) in which he puts his teeth. You can read our breakdown of Wear Os 6 functions here.
However, it is rumored that two more characteristics will arrive with Wear OS 6, either in the launch or as a future update.
First, according to Android Authority, you can expect a new adaptive load function. The adaptive load is often used so that the devices extend the life of the battery, preventing the battery from overloading too often, which can make the battery degrade.
Android Authority found the code chains, presenting a characteristic similar to that of the best pixels phones: stop the 80% completion load and resume an hour before disconnecting their device. According to the reports, Samsung Watches will obtain a similar feature with the Samsung OS adjacent system system, a UI Watch 8.
Water block in pixels
Pixel watches have a touch screen lock function, which is automatically allowed during swimming training, but cannot expel water from cracks in the same way that Samsung and Apple watches can. Nor does it have a devoted water lock, which deactivates the touch screen during rains, showers or bathrooms.
Current pixels watches are expected to obtain a water blocking function at least, again through the recent examination of the Android Authority code in the preview of the Wear OS 6 developer.
The code does not actually detail what this new characteristic will do, so, although there is always an external possibility that it really expels water, this is more likely to be an update for existing pixels watches, restricted to a hot tactile link key with a more logical name to deal with wet screens.
The touch screens are notoriously nervous and defective when they are wet, and try to operate a clock with heavy rains or the shower could be challenging if there is no water locking function available. While it is unlikely that this changes the way swimming and similar training operate in pixels watches, at least they will become more usable in the rain.
