The PlayStation 2025 roundup is here, if you can load it up now, and it’s a wealth of detail, information, and data that PS users get every year.
I’m always looking forward to this flash presentation of my year on PlayStation, especially since it’s my primary platform, and I try to play, well, as much as I can on my PS5 Pro.
Anyway, this year it goes far beyond giving you gameplay stats, trophy data, and time spent on each game you played on PS5 and PS4.
This year, Sony even shows you, satisfyingly, I think, which color DualSense you used the most and some data about your PlayStation Portal usage (presumably only if you have one).
The Summary can now show you how many different games you played on your Portal, how many sessions you had and how many hours in total, perfect!
We knew Sony had and was interested in using this kind of information when we spoke with Takuro Fushimi, Sony’s senior manager of product management, about the big Portal update last month, but it’s still fascinating to see the information itself in the light of day.
I’m also a big fan of this beyond Portal; however, my Summary will now even tell me which DualSense color scheme I used the most.
As you can see from above, this year it was Midnight Black, and that’s probably because when I received it as a gift last Christmas, I paired it with some KontrolFreek grips of the same color to create the perfect color-coordinated pad that stuck to me like glue.
I’d love to get a breakdown of this on a leaderboard, although that might add a bit of embarrassment to the ones I barely use or don’t use at all.
What kind of data did you get? What was the DualSense color you used the most? Let me know in the comments.
