The security forces killed 27 militants and rescued more than 150 hostages in an authorization operation launched after an unknown number of heavily armed terrorists broke into a train to Peshawar in the Bolan district of Baluchistan, Express News reported Wednesday.

The attackers bombarded the railroad road before assaulting the train, security forces said.

The sources indicated that the railroad tracks had been destroyed with explosives, which caused the train to stop, after which the shot began, which resulted in the death of the driver and several passengers.

The railway authorities declared that mobile networks did not work in the area where the train was, causing communication difficulties.

After the Joffer Express incident, an aid table for passenger consultations, and the trains of Peshawar and Quetta have been arrested at the Sibi station.

People are cheated, and the public is advised to trust credible sources of information instead of the propaganda deceived and manufactured on social networks.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shhebaz Sharif firmly condemned the attack on Joffer Express, stating that attacks against innocent passengers are inhuman and rebuke.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack, declaring: “The beasts that shoot in innocent passengers do not deserve any concession.” He also expressed his hope for the rapid recovery of the injured in the attack.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of railway routes that pass through remote areas of the province. However, officials have assured the public that measures are being taken to avoid such attacks in the future.

In November last year, at least 26 people, including 16 security personnel, lost their lives and another 61 were injured in a suicide bombing in a Quetta railway station.

The bomber had detonated the explosive on the platform where the big crowds waited Jaffar Express.
