During last year’s election cycle, Jake Paul urged his tens of millions of social media followers to vote for President Donald Trump. After defeating Mike Tyson, about a week and a half after Trump won, he spontaneously said that the country “feels like” it’s “back.”

Two months after that, Paul and his brother, Logan, were seen at the inaugurations of the 45th and 47th presidents, but he has been relatively quiet about politics since.

This comes despite many sweeping measures by the Trump administration, including ICE enforcement, deploying the National Guard to cities to help reduce crime, and helping free remaining Israeli hostages abroad.

A little more than nine months into Trump’s second term, Paul is a fan of what he’s seen.

“America is slowly recovering. And I think it’s in a way that people generally don’t understand or can’t understand, because Trump is doing things that may not make sense to a lot of people, but in the long run will pay off and in the long run will yield surprising results for America,” Paul said in a recent interview with Pak Gazette Digital.

Paul added that Trump is “doing one of the best jobs of any president in American history,” and praised him for not taking action based on feelings, but on what he feels is simply for the good of the country.

“Just being ruthless and ruthless, maybe not doing things for public favor or to please everyone. I think there are even Republicans who say, ‘Why is this happening? Why is this happening?’ They don’t know the inner workings, or how deep and intricate things are, or how big these problems are, or how to solve them.

“You just have to have confidence in the process and the administration, and I think they’re doing a phenomenal job. I think the results are what’s going to make the most people happy in the end.”
