Jake Paul told a booed crowd to “close the FK UP” after defeating former medium -sized weight champion Julio César Chávez Jr. for a unanimous decision on Saturday night in Anaheim, California.
“All boos are words, and actions speak more than words, so they can silence the f —!” Paul said in the post -Match interview while making mockery for the crowd. “I am modern, I am really modern, I only beat your child, an easy job, year five, wait until I will go even more homeland — Ers!”
Paul (12-1, 7 kos) seemed to be taking the greatest risk of his unique boxing career when facing his most successful opponent in Chávez, 39 (54-7-2-1), and in front of a crowd ardently pro-Chávez in southern California.
