Jake Tapper from CNN takes heat from former ESPN NFL reporter

The former NFL reporter of the ESPN, Ed Werder, scraped the announcer of CNN Jake Tapper by promoting his new book, “The original sin: the decline of President Biden, his cover -up and his disastrous choice to work again”, and recognized “humility” in the past coverage of former President Joe Biden.

Tapper, and co -author Alex Thompson, have received criticism about the cover -up of the former president’s decline while he was in office. Tapper has been in multiple shows that admit failures in how the Biden health report was made.

Werder, the former ESPN journalist, offered his two cents in a publication on Wednesday.

“He sold his credibility as a journalist for access to power, and now he hopes to benefit from the audience to whom he lied,” Werder wrote in X.

Werder was far from being the only journalist or expert who called coverage.

Jon Stewart, Charamagne Tha God, and “The View” houses Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg released their feelings about the book and coverage around them. Some were specifically scolding CNN for promoting it, while some “view” experts wondered if Tapper would write a book about the decline of President Donald Trump.
