The NFL will review the spit interaction between Dallas Cowboys The Dak Prescott field marshal and the defensive Tackle of the Philadelphia Eagles, Jalen Carter, which resulted in the early expulsion of Carter from the game on Thursday night, according to a report.

But Carter could face greater discipline of the league.

NFL Network Tom Pelissero reported Friday morning that the NFL is reviewing the interaction for “possible additional discipline.” He pointed out that Carter’s early ejection already served as a suspension of a game because it was thrown before the first click of the game.
The initial reaction to the grill was complicated when the videos later shared on social networks seemed to show Prescott spitting first. Speaking to journalists after the game, he confirmed that he first spit, but by habit.
Prescott explained that The eagles’ Star seemed to be “trolling” to the Guard of the Cowboys, Tyler Booker, and who at the time felt the need to spit, not an unusual practice of a game day for the veteran field marshal.

“I was just looking at him. I was here for both lines and I guess I needed to spit and I wasn’t going to spit my liners and I only spit ahead.”
Prescott said Carter called him to try to spit him, an accusation he offended.
“At that moment, I felt that he was insulting me. I wouldn’t spit on someone, and I’m sure he’s not trying to spit.”
Prescott said Carter reprisals were “more a surprise than anything else.” He called him “a hell player”, adding that the expulsion was “unfortunate.”

Carter, on the other hand, apologized after the game.
“It was a mistake that happened on my side. It will not happen again,” Carter said. “I feel bad just for my teammates and fans. I am doing it for them. I am also doing it for my family. But the fans showed the greatest love.”
