James Arthur, who obtained fame after winning the X factor in 2012, has just launched the song, ADHD, After being diagnosed with the same disease.
While talking with Failure Departure, the Say you won’t let go Singer frankly argued how ADHD (hyperactivity attention deficit disorder) is impacting his life.
“I see ADHD as a superpower when it comes to writing songs,” he said. “It allows me to have hyperfocus when it comes to things that are passionate about. And I care deeply the composition of songs, so that I can block for long periods.”
Referring to his sixth recently released study album, PISCES, Arthur told the publication that he is “proud of that” because in the album he is “without apologies.”
Meanwhile, the 37 -year -old singer explained that his songs helped his listeners to reach other people who have not spoken in a long time and argued more openly about mental health.
“It is important to have a healthy internal dialogue because if we said some of the things we told ourselves aloud to another person, we would probably have a purple eye!” He continued.
Before concluding, Arthur shared. “It is always cathartic to write about difficult things. Making me vulnerable requires courage and I know that I am helping others.”
