Miami Dolphins Guard James Daniels continues to recover from a torn Achilles that suffered during week 4 of season 2024, but the veteran NFL player said it is nothing compared to what is happening in the United States.
In statements to the media after a practice session on Thursday, Daniels took the opportunity to talk about the immigration Arrests and protests in Los Angeles when asked about the most difficult that he has had to overcome during his recovery trip.

“I spend a lot of time at home and I realize that I am in a big position. The Achilles, yes, was unfortunate, but there are people in very worse positions,” he said.
“Especially what is happening in Los Angeles: people’s parents, people’s grandparents are being illegally deported. I don’t have to worry that my mother is deported, my father is deported or my wife is deported.”
Daniels went on to his “quite easy” situation in comparison.

“I have played a lot of time. I have earned decent money. So there are many bigger problems that people have on their dish. So for me, going through an Achilles injury is quite easy.”
The federal raids of compliance with the national immigration have caused protests and demonstrations in many cities, with Los Angeles being the most volatile.

The protests against these raids have led officials to enforce the touches of currency in Los Angeles and Spokane, Washington.
