James Gunn, the head of DC Studios, shared his new vision for the iconic Superman that is ready to reach theaters on July 11.
In the world premiere of SupermanGunn told him Deadline, “Somehow, it is lighter. But there are also many heavy things in the movie. But the character itself is lighter.”
Gunn also talked about Clark Kent, a character in SupermanSaying: “He is from a non -dysfunctional family, he has parents who love him, he is growing in a loving home with support and emotional presence of his parents, and it is the result of that. And I think he is a fairly adjusted guy for that. However, he also has his defects.”
In addition, he added: “But I loved the color and joy of the comics that I loved to grow, and wanted to imbue this movie with that feeling.”
