James Van Der Beek threw some nights while talking about talking with her children about her cancer.
In a recent talk in TodayOn July 30, the 48 -year -old actor, who is struggling with colorectal cancer in stage 3 during the last eight months, opened about the difficult conversation he had with his children about his health scare.
“I am far from being an expert, but our approach was to be as honest as possible, as honest in the degree of understanding, right? Because they know,” James said in the third hour of the program.
He Dawson Creek Star pointed out that his children “may feel that Dad is having a difficult day.”
“They know that if Dad has pain. They know, and if not, I think you are confusing them even more,” James continued.
Taking the time to advise other parents, he encouraged them to know if they are going through the same situations.
“When you tell them what you are doing, and you tell them the approach, they can see it and can feel it, and I think it is also their trip,” he urged.
