Wood had six appearances on the plate and was intentionally walked four times. It was the first time that a batter intentionally walked four times in a game from Barry Bonds in 2004.
The only others intentionally walked four times in a game since at least 1955 were Roger Maris, Garry Templeton, Manny Ramírez and Andre Dawson, who received five intentional walks in May 1990.
Wood left 1 by 2 with a stolen base. The nationals defeated the angles, 7-4, in 11 entries.

Wood has been one of the best players for nationals since he entered the League in 2024. He had 31 homers and 105 races promoted with an average bat of .274 and an OPS of .863, according to its average of 162 games. His numbers have been compared to Juan Soto and Bryce Harper.
“Those are some of the best guys to put a shirt,” he said on Saturday, through ESPN. “I definitely effort to be types like that. They have been doing it, Juan Soto for more than seven years and Bryce Harper for more than 12 years, I know that I have a long way to go, but it is definitely great.”
More importantly, Wood has to help Washington return to the winning column.
Despite the victory against Los Angelinos, the nationals only improved to 35-49. Washington has not won more than 80 games since 2019, the same year that Washington won the World Series that year.

Wood has been the best player for the NATS, according to his victories above replacement (3.9).
