Metaplenet (3350) announced financial results throughout 2024 and is now sitting on an unrealized gain of approximately $ 36 million (5.46 billion yen) in a total of 1,761 BTC, acquired for $ 137 million.
Bitcoin’s investor said his shareholders base increased by 500% to 50,000 in 2024.
Metaplenet has several ways to increase Bitcoin holdings per action. The first is the issuance of the debt, which is achieved through guaranteed bonds, convertible bonds and the use of bitcoin as a guarantee.
The second is capital issuance through private placement, preference shares, convertible bonds and orders in addition to the cash flow of commercial operations, according to the presentation.
The firm plans to acquire 10,000 BTC by the end of 2025 and 21,000 BTC for the end of 2026. This will be achieved by issuing 21 million shares in moving strike orders.
Metaplenet shares increased 8% on Monday and 64% to date.
