The stars of Hollywood Jason Momoa and Jack Black used humor and great performances to give life to a corner of Minecraft, the best -selling video game of all time, in A Minecraft movie.
Known for its block images, the Swedish video game of 2011 is to create almost anything imaginable using cultivation resources.
In A Minecraft movie, directed by Napoleon dynamite The filmmaker Jared HESS, Black plays Steve, who has spent most of his life trapped in the world of the alternative dimension.
In the real world, Garett (Momoa), Dawn (Danielle Brooks) and the Natalie brothers (Emma Myers) and Henry (Sebastian Hansen) run into Steve’s belongings, and a portal transfers them to Overworld, where they must learn their secrets to survive.
Serving the big base of game fans and creating an entertaining experience for the public came with pressure, said Momoa, who also produced the fantasy adventure film.
“It’s a lot of responsibility,” he said at the world premiere of the film in London on Sunday. “This movie was presented to me by the producer with whom I made ‘Dune’. He says: ‘You have to make a comedy.”
“It has always been a dream to make one. So, this is my first comedy,” said the actor of “Aquaman.”

“He does not have a voice or any personality to speak; it is all that you put your imagination in it. I had fun putting myself in it and going crazy and up to 11 and letting Jared stuck him as he saw it in the edition,” he said.

“I think a part of the explanation is in the title: it is a Minecraft movie. In the Minecraft community, thousands of players have created their own stories. So, when we realized that we wanted to tell a story in Minecraft, it made it much easier,” he said.
