Terry McLaurin, twice Pro Bowler, recently asked to be changed to another NFL team. McLaurin’s request arose after an impulse on a possible extension of the contract between the open receiver representatives and Washington’s commanders seemed to stop.
McLaurin has informed the commanders of the commanders, but has not participated in the practice sessions, effectively designating it as a apoqueo. In a corresponding movement, Washington placed McLaurin on the physical list of not being able to perform.

The Marshal of the Commanders, Jayden Daniels, the offensive rookie of the NFL year last season, shared his thoughts about whether he believed he would launch passes to McLaurin in 2025.
“I know that one day 17 he will leave here, and hopefully soon,” Daniels told CBS Sports.

While Daniels acknowledged that Washington’s main office is, ultimately, who handles contract negotiations, doubled his optimism about continuing to be teammates with McLaurin in the predictable future.
“I can’t control what he has with his business or the main office, things like that. I have to go out and try to be the best version of myself every day. I hope that one day everything is resolved and 17 come back here catching passes.”

McLaurin ended last season with a better race of 13 TouchDown receptions and 1,096 reception yards. He received the Honors All-Pro for the first time in his career in the NFL, and much of his successful 2024 campaign could be attributed to Daniels’ rookie campaign.
In addition to the NFL’s offensive rookie honors, Daniels was also named for Pro Bowl.

McLaurin signed a three -year contract with Washington in 2022. The agreement will expire after the 2025 season.
