Jennifer Lopez was reportedly shocked and hurt after discovering she was not mentioned anywhere in Alex Rodriguez’s new docuseries, Alex vs ARod.
The series focused on his life and personal journey, as many fans hoped that his years with Lopez would feature somewhere in the story since their relationship once captured so much public attention.
However, the former couple began dating in 2017, got engaged in 2019, and then broke up.
According to Closer, a source said that Lopez has been waiting to see how she would appear in the project.
The source further said that the Selen actress was “preparing to be in that documentary” and shared that people around her also discussed the possibility for months.
When the series came out without any reference to her, the source said she found the moment “shocking” and “embarrassing.”
The source explained that Lopez saw the silence as very personal, as she explained: “The fact that he has effectively erased her existence and has chosen to completely remove her from his life story is very insulting and triggering.”
The report also mentioned past speculation linking Rodriguez to Madison LaCroy. LaCroy said the two “never had physical contact,” but the source claimed that Lopez was still plagued by issues during the relationship.
Additionally, they added that “there was absolutely no mention of JLo as if she had never existed.”
The close source added that the Out of Sight star still had feelings about the problems in their relationship.
They said: “Alex talked a lot about his mistakes and how he could have treated her” differently.
Another claim from the source said that “there was no mention of J Lo as if she never existed,” which made her feel that Rodriguez “owes her a lot of apologies for what happened between them.”
