In twenty films, Jennifer López has proven her acting worth. Still, there is one movie she turned down that ended up being her biggest regret as an actress.

“[Director] “Adrian Lyne offered me Unfaithful,” she says, referring to the 2002 film starring Diane Lane, who earned an Academy Award nomination for her performance as Connie Summer.

In the interview with Howard Stern, the pop icon further reveals that the script “wasn’t good” at first, but gave credit to the film’s director, who “then made it great.”

“And Diane Lane was nominated for an Oscar,” the 56-year-old adds. This prompts Howard to ask, “Is that hard to live with?”

“It’s funny. It haunts me,” J.Lo responds. “It haunts me a little bit, because it’s the one I rejected.”

She continues: “It was like, ‘Why did you turn down working with Adrian Lyne? What were you thinking?’ I don’t know what was going through my mind at that moment. Who knows what was happening to me at that moment?
