
Jeremy Renner becomes honest about rejecting the offer to star in Hawkeye season.
In a recent conversation with High performance, Renner, 54, revealed it for the second season of the Disney+ Series, only half of the payment was offered compared to the first.
“They asked me to do season 2, and they offered me half of the money. I am like, ‘Well, it will take me twice the amount of work in half of the amount of money, and eight months of my time, essentially, to do it in the middle of the amount,” he told The Outlet.
He Avengers Star also revealed that he has something to do with his almost fatal quittaniee accident.
“I am like, ‘I’m sorry? Why? Did you think I’m only half the Jeremy because they attended me? Maybe that’s why you want to pay me half of what I did in the first season.'”
He continued saying: “This is not Marvel, that is. This is like, only Disney, not even Disney. It’s just the Penny Pinhers, the accountants. I told them to be flying a kite. I mean, just in the insult offer. So we didn’t see in sight.”
However, Renner said he loved the character and that he still wanted to do it if they paid him as much as the first season.
“I would still love to do it, but I had to defend myself. Just paying what I did did the first season. So everything is discouraging that did not happen, but that’s fine,” he added.
