Golden State eaves, Jimmy Butler, will be taken to a magnetic resonance on Friday, according to Warriors PR.

Butler was discarded by the rest of game 2 of the First Round series of the Warriors West Conference with the Houston Rockets after taking a tough fall in the first quarter with a lack of Amen Thompson. He left the game and was taken to the locker room shortly after the collision.

He was diagnosed with a pelvis bruise.

Butler was injured when Thompson was pushed by his legs as he jumped to try to grab a rebound. Both players crashed at the court on the collision, but Butler stayed longer than Thompson.

It was not clear what Butler’s injury was at the time while walking, cautiously, to the locker room.

He finally got up and walked slowly to the other end of the court to shoot free throws. Butler made 1 of 2 and was soon taken out of the game and immediately went to the locker room.

The Rockets, which never followed on Wednesday, won 109-94 even for the series.

Game 3 of the Warriors-Racket series is scheduled for Saturday at 8:30 pm Eastern time.
