John Goodman has finally talked about the shocking injury to the set.
In March, the actor suffered an injury while filming Tom Cruise’s next movie, which made him undergo emergency surgery.
Talk with The Hollywood Reporter, Goodman said: “It was a real accident.”
“I wore sock, as I had been during the last week and a half. I was going to Tom, and my legs went to the floor, and went up to the ground and landed in my hip,” he explained.
Adding: “I tried to go up again, and when I couldn’t do that, I began to fear the worst. I didn’t know I had fractured it until we got radiographs.”
It is worth mentioning that Goodman is working with Tom Cruise in a movie without a title, which is described as an action and adventure comedy about the most powerful man in the world.
When calling the doctor in the “Brilliant” set, Goodman revealed that he led him to the London location of the Cleveland Clinic.
“Until now, all good. Unfortunately, I was depressed for about a month where I couldn’t do anything, and I was driving me crazy,” he added.
In particular, John Goodman said the movie “found other things to do” until “he returned to her.”
The Tom Cruise -free project will be launched in October 2026.
