The winner of the Heisman trophy, Johnny Manziel, wants “nothing more than the best” for Arch Manning, since Manning embarks on his first season as a full -time starter with Texas’s Longhorns.
But Manziel’s own university football loyalty has it hoping that Manning will have his worst game of the year during rivalry in university football.
Manziel Texas A & M Aggies have priority over any Longhorns player.

“When it may [Texas] Play in Texas A&M, I hope you throw five teams and there are no touchdowns and give us the opportunity to win that ball game we need to win, “Manziel told Pak Gazette Digital while talking about his association with Sling TV.
“The Lone Star Showdown” is the nickname of Texas-Texas A&M Week, which is commonly played during rivalry week. This year, the game will be played on November 28, the last regular season game for AGGIES and LONGORNS.
Then, Manziel will have another weeks before that confrontation to see what the Lonchorns and Manning are doing while rooting their Aggies.

Manning’s expectations as the head of the Longhorns are in the clouds with Quinn Eweers going to the NFL. Texas is at the top of the pre -season survey of the 25 best of Associated Press, and many are choosing them to win the University football playoff this year.
Manziel will not go so far, but he is excited to see what Manning can do with the Austin Care Center.
“Texas is starting very highly classified,” said Manziel. “A lot of exaggeration around him, and there is a lot of pressure in that situation. But, so he has shown so far, he would think he could handle it, and that he will play well. SEC, week and week outside, we will discover exactly what is done.
“For me, from my perspective, I wish you nothing more than the best. It looks like an incredible child, has an incredible family. I want you to do incredible things outside that day.”
Manziel met the Manning family well, after winning the coveted “Manning Award” for the best university American football field during his 2012 Heisman winning campaign in A&M.

ARCH has a strong support system with its uncles, Peyton and Eli Manning; his father, Cooper Manning; and his grandfather, the legend of the Saints of New Orleans, Archie Manning. But Manziel is curious, like the rest of the country, to see how Arch does when it is between the lines facing the current Ohio national champion, the state of Ohio, Buckeyes, to begin its 2025 campaign.
“When you classify yourself so high in the season, and you have exaggeration and name and everything that comes with him, you will get the best opportunity of all the week after week,” said Manziel. “Just out of the door for them at their schedule, they get a real test playing a real team outside the door.
“So, you are receiving everyone’s best opportunity. People come for you, and there will be defenses that you have not seen before, looks you have not seen before. They will really be shooting for you.”

Manziel knows the expectations of leading a very promoted sec school.
“The main thing you have to do is continue being a good leader, continue doing the offensive of the way they teach you, the way you need and keep things from a good perspective that not everything will soften every trip, every week,” Manziel on Manning said.
“You’re going to deal with some adversity. You’re going to have some ball games that are three -point games where you have to try to stop people, and I hope they follow your way.
“The best thing you can do is appear, be the guy, be the leader and go out and play their best football week after week.”
