JoJo Siwa opens up about her future with her boyfriend Chris Hughes and makes no secret of the fact that she already has babies in mind.
The 22-year-old entertainer shared that conversations about children have come naturally in her relationship with Hughes, 33, and says her feelings are very real.
while talking to MY! NewsSiwa recalled advice she once received from Meghan Trainor that suddenly made sense once she started dating Hughes.
“Meghan Trainor once told me, ‘You know you love someone when you love them so much that you want to duplicate them and you want to have a baby made out of them,’” Siwa said.
That moment, he explained, clicked almost immediately.
“One of the first things I said to him after I started dating Chris was, ‘Now I understand what you’re saying,’” she continued. “I love [Chris] a lot. I need there to be a mini [Chris].”
Those feelings only grew stronger after Hughes sent her a photo of himself as a baby, sitting inside a trash can.
Siwa said the image took her by surprise in the sweetest way, admitting that it triggered a clear “uh oh” moment for her.
Earlier this month, Siwa gave fans a glimpse into those thoughts by sharing AI-generated images of what she imagined her future family with Hughes would look like.
The TikTok video, set to Taylor Swift With light$tshowed the couple with a son and daughter and leaned into lyrics about wanting to have children together.
Siwa later joked that Hughes didn’t bring it up right away, leading to a hilarious misunderstanding when she asked him why he hadn’t commented on it.
As it turned out, he thought they’d already discussed it, only to realize he’d had that conversation with his best friend.
Siwa has long been open about her desire to be a mother.
In 2024, she said Access Hollywood who dreamed of having three children, including a daughter named Freddie and twins named Eddy and Teddy, and even shared that she had already searched for a donor.
Her relationship with Hughes began last year after the two hooked up on season 24 of Celebrity Big Brother UK.
Before that, Siwa had dated women including Kath Ebbs and Kylie Prew.
Now, as her relationship with Hughes continues to grow, Siwa’s comments suggest that she’s not just thinking about the present, but she’s clearly imagining a future that includes family, love, and possibly a “mini Chris” down the road.
