Jordan Spieth was not only letting him fly in the Golf field in Augusta National this weekend, but also on the podium.
Spieth, 31, said he dealt with mud balls during his second and third round, and said that teachers do not like mud balls that are discussed publicly.
“My iron game killed me the last two days and, to be brutally honest with you, they were mainly mud balls,” Spieth said, through the New York Post after his round on Saturday.

“It’s very frustrating because you can’t talk about them here. You are not supposed to talk about them.”
“Mud balls can affect this tournament significantly, especially when you get them a lot in 11 and 13. They are only daggers in those two holes.”
Spieth had varied results in holes 11 and 13. Spieth took the 11th hole in the first round and then fired the first one in the first part of the corner of Amen in the next three rounds.
In Hole 13, Spieth boghed the hole in the first and second round, but the hole biró in the third and fourth round.

Augusta National is already a difficult course to play with a good lie. Add the wrinkle of a mud ball, and iron shots in the famous course have another additional degree of difficulty.
“There are less (mud balls) than normal, but I still had them in those holes. I had them (Friday) in those holes,” Spieth said. “It is something to pay attention to the groups of leaders, because you just have to play so far from the problems or place yourself when you would normally do it, only random things, because it will affect it significantly. And if you are on the wrong side of the hole, you are in the water or you can hardly make the par depending on what hole is.”
“Look, cut into the grain. The ball is digging in each shot. Many times you have it in 75% of your units.”
Pak Gazette Digital contacted Augusta National to comment, but did not receive an immediate response.

The 2015 Masters champion made his 12th beginning in the race in this year’s masters and ended in a draw for 14th place, since he was for 3 under the tournament.
Spieth barely cut on Friday, since he was 2 years after two rounds and just below the cutting line, but turned it around going 5 down the weekend.
Rory Mcilroy won the Masters and completed the Grand Slam after defeating Justin Rose in a playoff.
