The exaggeration is real in Chapel Hill, since the celebrities and alumni came in mass to see Bill Belichick’s debut as the new North Carolina soccer coach Tar Heels.
Many was expected to go to Kenan Stadium to see what the Tar Heels could do, but the names that made their way on Monday night were impressive.
Among them, of course, was Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, who was seen in a suite with the member of the Randy Moss football hall. Moss played his university football in Notre Dame and Marshall, but was adorned in Carolina Blue encouraging the Tar Heels.
But the celebrities only shone more when the cameras made their way through the stadium.

After the Tar Heels began the 2025 season with a opening touchdown, the legendary former basketball coach of Tar Heels, Roy Williams, applauded in his own suite with Michael Jordan, the sensation of the UNC that became one of the best NBA players of all time.

It was rumored that Jordan was one of the alumni who were heading to Kenan Stadium, and would make sense taking into account that his “Jumpman” logo is on the uniforms and accessories of Tar Heels.
Another student who was seen in the stadium was the member of the Fame Hall of Football Profíse Lawrence Taylor, the legend of the New York giants who was second in general in the 1981 NFL draft out of Chapel Hill.
Even Aaron Boone, the New York Yankees manager, took the time to see the Tar Heels before his team faced Houston’s stars on the road on Tuesday night.

Belichick can have Super Bowls to his credit, but he has never faced the Gauntlet who is a university American football, surprising to all when he accepted North Carolina’s work this season. He worked quickly to gather his staff, including his son, Steve Belichick, coming from Washington to serve as a defensive coordinator.

The Tar Heels are not united to start the season, but like the Colorado buffalo and the exaggeration they obtained with Deion Sanders assuming the program, the Belichick team could reach the classification as the year progresses.
