Josh Allen has already overcome his most valuable player award.

The Buffalo Bills Campo Marshal won the prize last February in a tight race with Lamar Jackson, who pointed to his second consecutive and third in general.

Allen was emotional that night, but apparently it was a celebration of one night.

In a recent interview with CBS, he asked what an MVP did for him, and stopped before shrugged and immediately said he improved as a team.

“It is such a great achievement in terms of, it is like a professional achievement in its field. And that is the great part of that,” Allen continued. “But apart from that, it’s just a praise that … enjoy at night, and you forget that. I listen to it, the songs and the crowd loves him. But I am only trying to find other ways to improve and help this team to win football games.”

That sounded a bit like what Scottie Scheffler said before Open Championship (who won) about being a superior golfer who is not “satisfactory.” Interestingly, Allen mentioned it when asked if he was “crazy” that he can play so well, and things do not come out in his own way.

“It’s crazy. But at the same time, it helps put things in perspective about what really matters in your life, and you discover what it is quite quickly,” said Allen. “Scottie Scheffler had that very good interview just before the open that spoke to me a lot, and I really appreciate that I shared those words.

The star corridor of the cowboys, Micah Parsons, says he requested trade, “no longer” wants to be in Dallas

“It’s crazy where you come here and do everything you can to enjoy quickly, and then you’re in the next.

Scheffler’s comments increased a ton of conversation.

“This is not a satisfactory life. It is satisfactory by the feeling of achievement, but it is not satisfactory of a sense of the deepest places of his heart,” said Scheffler.

Maybe Allen can feel different if he finally receives a super bowl ring. Your next search will begin on September 7.
