Different team, Juan Soto is still the same.
In his first spring training in the bat with the New York Mets, Soto crushed an opposite field home run of 426 feet from Colton Gordon of the Houston stars to give the METS a 1-0 advantage in the first entrance on Saturday.
Soto signed the most lucrative contract in the history of professional sport this low season, an agreement of 15 years and $ 765 million with the METS.

When signing Soto, the Mets hoped to boost the team to the World Series after making a surprise race to the NLC last season, where they lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The addition of Soto caused fans to wonder if the team could retain the first base Pete Alonso, also a free agent this low season.
Later, Alonso signed again with the METS, giving Soto an important protection in alignment.
Soto, four times All-Star, had the best season of his career with the Yankees last season. He hit .288 with the best 41 homers of his career and 109 ranges.

In the Yankees race to the World Series, Soto raised his game, hitting .327 with four home runs in 14 games.
Soto debuted with Washington’s nationals in 2018 and helped them win the World Series on Houston’s stars in 2019.
Soto was changed to San Diego’s parents in the 2022 trade deadline, and the parents changed him to the Yankees before the 2024 season.
Despite playing for three different teams before METS and be only 26 years old, Soto has a remarkable curriculum.

In addition to his four appearances in the star game, Soto is a fifth silver and won the batting title in the 2020 shortened season.
