A little over two months ago, the MLB star, Juan Soto, signed a historical contract. A couple of weeks ago, he joined the New York Mets in Florida for spring training.
The 15 -year agreement and $ 765 million signed was the most lucrative contract in the history of professional sport.
In mid -February, Soto still seemed to be processing the contact that changed his life.
“I’m still thinking about that and everything. It’s amazing,” he said at that time. “I am very happy for that. I am very happy to know where I will be for the next 15 years.”

But Soto revealed that he received offers from other teams that exceeded the surprising amount presented by the Mets.
Who are the 10 largest athletes they currently play in New York?
“The Mets did not offer the greatest amount of money,” said Soto, speaking in Spanish. “Some teams offered more.”
Later, Soto said that the Mets culture was one of the reasons why he decided to leave Bronx in favor of Queens.

Sny reported that “multiple teams, including Boston, had the will to overcome the high offer if they knew that Soto would agree.”

Soto will wear its coveted T -shirt No. 22 with the METS. The third Brett Bitch base used that number in the last three seasons. But Soto gave him a new SUV during spring training to convince the picture player to change to number 7.
“No, you didn’t,” Blay said as he smiled and left the team’s spring training complex to see Soto near a Chevrolet Tahoe who had “thanks for #22” scribbled in the rear window.
Bathy, the twelfth general selection of METS in the 2019 Draft, still drove Toyota 4runner 2016 in high school.
“I really appreciate the number,” Soto told him. “It’s the first one I used.”
