A local court in Islamabad issued arrest orders for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur on Monday, in a case that implies the recovery of liquor and illegal weapons.
The arrest orders were issued by Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti after Gandapur did not appear before the court. The Court dismissed its declaration of exemption from the personal appearance and ordered the authorities to arrest it and produce it at the next hearing.
The court postponed the hearing until July 22.
Earlier on Saturday, the magistrate issued arrest orders not on the stock market for Gandapur and ordered the relevant officer of the station station (SHO) to guarantee its production.

During Friday’s procedures, the magistrate said the case has remained pending for almost eight years. Although the Prosecutor’s Office completed the witness registration statements in May 2024, Gandapur has not yet submitted its own statement under section 342 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The case dates back to October 2016, when the Islamabad police said they had recovered five assault rifles of Kalashnikov, a gun, six magazines, a bulletproof vest, a bottle of alcohol and three tear gas shells of a vehicle belonging to the PTI leader parked outside the Bani gala.
Gandapur has constantly denied the accusations, stating that he was traveling with two rifles of licensed Kalashnikov and that a valid weapons license was present in the vehicle. As for the supposed recovery of liquors, he said that the bottle in question contained honey, not alcohol.
