Julia Roberts was immediately impressed by Andrew Garfield’s talent on the set of his upcoming movie.

During a recent interview broadcast on Good morning America for the promotion of his new movie after the huntThe 57-year-old actress appreciated the Spider-Man star’s acting skills and how she was captivated by his talent on the first day of filming.

“First take, [Andrew] he just comes in and has a great scene,” the Academy Award winner recalled.

“And you know, it’s a long scene and then it’s over. You know, ‘Cut.'”

Observing Garfield’s refined skill, she responded, “I was like, ‘Wow, I’m sweating,'” Roberts shared.

Speaking about her other co-star, Ayo Edebiri, who played the role of her character Robert, Professor Alma’s favorite student in her new film, she said: “It’s been really beautiful to sit next to Ayo, who I really admire and adore, and listen to the words she chooses and the way she sees the world and this film.”

In the psychological thriller directed by Luca Guadagnino, Roberts’ character faces a difficult situation when her favorite student, played by Ayo, accuses her coworker and friend Hank, played by Garfield, of abusing her after a party at Alma’s residence.
