Islamabad:
Judge Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar was sworn as president of the Supreme Court of the IHC in a ceremony held at the AIWAN-E-SADR in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The oath taking ceremony was held one day after President Asif Ali Zardari approved their appointments, depending on the JCP nominations. President Zardari also administered the oath to the President of the Supreme Court Dogar.
The ceremony was attended by judges of the Superior Court, the president of the Senate, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Punjab Prime Minister, Maryam Nawaz, ministers, parliamentarians, representatives and members of the law agencies and legal fraternity, law officers, lawyers and media.
