Kaghan Valley attracts mass tourists

Kaghan Valley witnessed an overwhelming influx of tourists during Eidul Azha’s holidays, with approximately 60,000 visitors who arrived in the region with 12,000 vehicles and 3,700 motorcycles. The picturesque cities of Shoot, Kaghan and Naran were the main destinations for tourists.

According to the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA), the flow of tourists to the Valley continued constantly during the three days of EID. The KDA reported that around 8,000 small vehicles, 4,000 larger vehicles and 3,700 motorcycles entered the valley during this period.

To facilitate tourists, the KDA established four tourist facilitation centers under the special directive of the general director Shabbir Khan. In addition, tourism police staff were deployed to manage traffic flow and help in the subsequent disposal of animal waste to maintain cleaning in the area.

The KDA said that Kaghan Valley has the ability to accommodate up to 100,000 tourists. The planning of the assistant director, Asad Shehzad, declared that in anticipation of the large crowds, DG Shabbir Khan had canceled all the sheets of the staff and directed large -scale operations to guarantee a traffic flow without problems and comprehensive support for tourists. The invasions in the Bazaar of Naran were also eliminated to avoid congestion and improve the visitor’s experience.

Meanwhile, following the instructions of IGP KP, Mansehra Dpo Shafiullah Gandapur deployed 1,500 police personnel throughout the area.
