LAHORE:
In the midst of a national mood of celebration after Pakistan’s military success against India at the borders, the main leader of the PPP, Qamar Zaman Kaira, without appointing PTI, said it was time to close the political division.
He advised Khan’s party to make the peace and asked the government to adopt a policy of forgiveness.
In the same press conference, the secretary general of PPP Central Punjab, Syed Hasan Murtaza, hitting the Punjab information minister, Bukhari Azma, to prove Nawaz Sharif with war planning, said that “at least one must be within some limits.” He said that repeated lies, if they are not publicly exposed, begin to sound like the truth.
Murtaza said that the true credit for making Pakistan’s defense invincible belongs to the leadership of the PPP.
“If there is any part that had a role in strengthening Pakistan’s defense, from signing the MOU for JF -17 to the construction of heavy industries, from weapons to tanks, airplanes and missiles, it is the PPP,” he said.
He accredited both the deceased Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and the deceased Benazir Bhutto, claiming that Bhutto launched the Atomic program of Pakistan, a decision that finally cost him his life. “Anyone can fly a bomb and take credit for it.”
Murtaza said that other parties could, at best, were simply attributed to the defense programs initiated by the PPP governments. “Others should try to present claims about their achievement by publishing photos,” he added. He also took a mockery in Rana Sanoullah for “falsely affirming that the war had ended on May 7”.
