Kamal urges the integrated strategy to address polyomyelitis

The Minister of Health Services, Mustafa Kamal, has requested a more integrated strategy to make Pakistan a polio -free country.

During a visit to the Emergency Operation Center for Poly in Karachi on Sunday, the minister said that the complete eradication of the polyomyelitis virus is a national priority and the federal government will provide all possible support to the provinces. He also appreciated health workers and the administration of the district for their role in the eradication campaign of national polyomyelitis.

Kamal expressed concern about the growing number of cases of poliovirus in Sindh, ordering authorities to present a detailed report on families that reject vaccines, said the Ministry of Health.
