President Donald Trump revealed on Saturday that he invited the Kansas City bosses to the White House to celebrate the victory of the team’s Super Bowl LIV, which was canceled due to the pandemic of the Coronavirus.
The Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the game, which was played at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, in February 2020. A month later, the sports world closed when Covid-19 spread throughout the world.

Trump made the revelation in an interview with Clay Travis by Outkick.
“I hope to have the (Philadelphia) Eagles,” he said to Travis while he was on Air Force One before the NCAA fight championship. “And, another thing, we will have the Kansas City bosses after that because they lost their turn by Covid.”

Philadelphia did not visit the White House after his victory over the New England patriots in February 2018. The NFL and Trump players fought for the kneeling athletes during the national anthem at that time. Trump told Travis that some players, coaches and the general manager and the team owner wanted to come, but the invitation was removed in the midst of the shock.
This time, the Eagles seem to be ready to celebrate with the president in Washington.
White House Secretary Karoline Leavitt said earlier this month that Eagles will come on April 28.

“I know there were many false news about an invitation that was not sent or sent. We want to correct the record: we sent an invitation. They accepted with enthusiasm and will see them here on April 28,” he said.
