Islamabad:
The PAA has successfully completed the pavement quality concrete works (PQC) on the main track (07L/25R) at the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, far ahead of the expected.
The PQC phase, which began at the end of December 2024 as part of the main rehabilitation project of the track, was officially completed on July 30, 2025, almost a month before the original deadline.
Progress was achieved through the use of advanced paving technology of sliding and 24 -hour construction changes, which suffered impulse despite operational challenges.
Parallel to PQC’s works, the aerodrome lighting system has also reached an important milestone.
