The recent heat spell that affects Karachi has decreased, but the Pakistan meteorology department warned that much of the province of Sindh can face another extreme heat episode from April 24 to 29.
According to the Early Warning Center, Karachi is expected to experience warm and increasingly wet conditions in the next three days, said Express News.
The maximum temperature in the city could reach 39 ° C on Wednesday and spend the time of 38 ° C on Thursdays and Fridays.
While Karachi escapes the worst part of the heat wave, temperatures in several interior districts will increase significantly above seasonal standards.
The districts that are expected to be most affected include Dadu, Qambar Shahdokot, Shaheed Benazirabad, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Khairpur, Fierce Noushero, Larkana, Hyderabad, Jamshor Hyderabad and Badin.
In these areas, temperatures can rise from 6 to 8 degrees above average.
Meanwhile, Tharparkar, Uumerkot and Mirpurkhas are expected to register increases from 4 to 6 degrees above the normal maximums.
The Department of Meteorology has urged residents through the affected regions to take precautionary measures and stay hydrated during peak hours of the afternoon.
It is likely that high temperatures persist until the beginning of next week.
