A suffocating and humid Saturday brought conditions similar to the heat wave to the city, with temperatures reached to 38.9 ° C and moisture increasing to 43%, which makes the weather feel significantly hotter than the real registered temperature. The minimum temperature was observed at 26.5 ° C.

According to the Department of Meteorology of Pakistan, the hot and humid climate is expected to persist in the next three days, with daytime temperatures that will probably range between 36 ° C and 38 ° C. The light winds of the west can prevail in the morning, while the southwest sea breeze could collect at night.

A heat wave alert issued by the department warns that intense conditions can continue in much of Sindh until April 30.

Temperatures in the interior districts of Sindh such as Dadu, Qambar Shahdokot, Shaheed Benazirabad, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Khairpur, Naushahro Feroze, Larkana, Sukkur and Jamshoro are expected to remain from 6 to 8 degradations on Celsius above the normal. In Hyderabad, Badin, Tharparkar, Uumerkot and Mirpurkhas, it is likely that the deviation of the normal is 4 to 6 degrees.

The authorities have advised special precautions, particularly for children, elders and women. The public is urged to avoid direct sunlight during the day and stay hydrated. Farmers are encouraged to make the necessary arrangements for crop care and cattle in the light of the severe climate.

On Saturday, Dadu registered the highest temperature in the province to a 48 ° C.
