A friend of King Charles has revealed the monarch’s reaction to the absence of Kate Middleton of Royal Ascot.
The Princess of Wales did not join King Charles and Prince William, and it was reported that she was “disappointed” of not going, but wanted to find the right “balance” on her return to real tasks full time after she recovered from cancer.
Kate and William’s friends have assured that King Charles was not upset by the decision of the princess of Wales to lose the horsepower.
The Pals said: “Charles is a very attentive and considered man. He is going through cancer to be completely comprehensive. He knows everything about good days and bad days, physically and mentally.”
However, a source close to the monarch says otherwise and that the “slightly vague” reasons of “balance” have demonstrated “slow tensions” with King Charles.
Experts continued to say that everything is reduced to family’s personal preferences.
“There is a perception in some sectors that Kate simply does not like races and, therefore, did not make the effort.
“That probably is not fair, but you must ask yourself if Wimbledon would have been lost, to which he loves.”
“I am sure that she really could not come, however, the last minute nature of the way it was announced makes the king seem disrespected,” experts said.
