Princess Diana’s hairdresser is defending Kate Middleton after her last image change.
The Princess of Wales, who was seen to every blonde in the reopening of the Natural History Museum this month, is saved from unpleasant public comments.
Former hairdresser Sam McKnight, 70, published on Instagram saying that he was “surprised, horrified, dismayed and disliked by all unpleasant comments”
She added: “A woman’s hair is very personal for her. It is armor, defense, trust and much more.”
The professional continued: “I cannot believe how evil and lack in any kind of empathy are the comments, the majority apparently made by other women, attacking a vulnerable young woman, who has no other option, to whom he married and the role he assumed, to bravely face the public.
“I am sure that she would prefer to be far from the public arena. She has represented in a brilliant and silent and selfless way to our country, the soft power we still have as a nation,” he said.
